Rogers PTA FUNDRAISING

Several events are held throughout the year to raise funds that are used to benefit teachers and students at Rogers Elementary:

 

Boosterthon (September): Our annual fun run gathers pledge donations for laps run on our annual Fun Run day. The funds gathered are used to purchase items and fund programs and projects requested by the teachers. Click here for more information.

 

 

Book Fairs (Fall and Spring): Our book fairs are an awesome way to build your home libraries and support Rogers at the same time! A percentage of the profits of each book fair are given back to Rogers PTA. We can also take our profit in Scholastic Dollars that can be used to purchase books for the Rogers library. Click here for more information.

 

All For Books (Fall and Spring Book Fairs): During the Spring book fair, donations will be requested to help purchase books for the Rogers community. The funds have previously been used to purchase books for students and for new teachers to help build their classroom libraries.

Community Partners

There are numerous additional ways to provide funds to help the Rogers PTA fund programs and events at the school:

 

By collecting box tops off of participating items, you can help earn funds for our school (10 cents for each box top collected). Click here for more information.

 

 

You can turn in Tyson labels with your box tops to earn funds (24 cents for each label collected). Click here for more information.

 

 

You can turn in Coca Cola labels and bottle caps to earn funds (Donations vary by product - $.05 to $.38). Click here for more information.

 

 

You can sign up for smile.amazon.com to automatically donate 0.5% of all of your Amazon purchases to Rogers Elementary PTA. Click here for more information.

 

 

You can add the Shoparoo app to your phone to scan your grocery receipts and earn donations for Rogers. Click here for more information.

 

 

You can earn money for Rogers by taking the family out! Rogers has spirit nights each month at different restaurants and venues in the area. A percentage of the proceeds for each event comes back to the PTA. Click here for more information.

 

Community FUNDRAISING

Several events are held throughout the year to raise funds that are used to benefit external organizations:

 

Turkey Legs (November): Staff members dress up as "turkey leg" characters, with students donating their loose change to pick their favorite. The funds gathered are given to Meals on Wheels. 
Valentine Grams (February): Students can purchase valentines to be delivered to classrooms on Valentine's Day. The funds gathered are given to Relay for Life.
Jump Rope for Heart: Students gather pledge donations for jump rope activities. The funds gathered are given to the American Heart Association.
